SHANGHAI UNIVERSITY OF
TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
The Shanghai University of
Tranditional Chinese Medicine (SUTCM) was founded in 1956. Besides
its regular academic programs, Shanghai University of Traditional
Chinese Medicine (SUTCM) was appointed by the World Health Organization
to found the Collaborating Center of Traditional Medicine and the
International Acupuncture Training Center in 1983, to train physicians
from all over the world. In 1985, SUTCM founded Shanghai Academy
of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which has won more than 117 research
project awards to date. With staff of over 4400, SUTCM operates
ten research institutes including qigong, acupuncture and medical
massage. It has four hospitals on site and twenty affiliated hospitals
for internship. SUTCM certainly is one of the oldest and most prestigious
universities in this field.

West Exchange, Inc. is a corporation established in 1992. The mission
of EWE is to promote and facilitate cultural and business exchanges
between China and the Western countries. Among EWE's recent accomplishments:
organized Chinese business groups to attend conventions and trade
shows in the United States; coordinated Shanghai International Children
Art Festival; arranged US business exchanges for Shanghai Eastern
Radio and Yangtze River Development Newspaper executives. East West
Exchange, Inc is officially appointed an overseas agent by China
Travel Service Head Office in Beijing.
